if your asking about weilii I would say to not waste your time. Season is over.

anyone still finding cubes located from central to N.central Georgia (Macon up to I-20) this late in this season-

i haven't been hunting though the cow patties now for several weeks because of Weilii having such a plentiful season

It is too late for the cubes.. But yes the weilii are out. Expect smaller size/fruiting numbers as opposed to September and October, but still expect to find them if you have a spot.

I can't wait till next summer I am gonna get permission to search some giant cow fields.. And just so you know, the north Atlanta area is WELL populated with cubensis. I know this one, because I found a never ending cubensis field. But also at a horse farm I found a small cubensis that could only have gotten there had a spore landed by wind. Which tells you they are fruiting somewhere nearby.. Anyways, I kinda like cube hunting more than weilii cause it is a lot more discreet when you have permission.

Psathyrella velutina seems to be thriving, which caused me much frustration hunting weilii while rollin, rollin on dubs, (my bicycle hehe). seriously though I'm like you phish, Ive had the same results when weilii hunting to the point that I'm now back to thinking about the cube, every since back in early spring p.cubensis was abundant in nearly every pasture that i stop- from Atlanta, south to New nan, i understand the further south the better the cube hunting will during November however if i return to some of my familiarized spots this week, which are no further than 60miles south of the ALT., am i likely to find cubes this late in the season? `````peace
