Hoffman's Cow Manure

Has anyone heard of Hoffman's Cow Manure? It's sold at hardware stores. It's just cow manure in a bag for under four bucks for 8lbs. Would this be good to innoculate with good honey water if pasturized?

Honey water innoculant would have a tough time taking straight onto the poop. Best bet is to create some grain spawn and innoc w/ that. It will provide the nutrient base to allow the mycelia to colonize the poop.

My monkeys' have 1st hand experience with this brand and it seems good. Their very first run-in with Hoffmans was kind of sour (too much verm made for wispy mycelium and was accidentaly washed away during a rainstorm).... well hope that helps.. peace

You should always pasteurize your poop, before growing things in it.

4 out of 5 inmates agree.  The FSR is better than being raped by your overweight roomate!;)

I've had only good experiences with hoffman's. It's pure and it's poopy, its great!
