cow manure??

I was planning to buy manure cuz of all the success other people had on it but that was horse manure. I can't find any horse manure because cow manure is more ideal for plants and trees, but not fungus. So im wondering since cow manure is all i can get if i should just find a tek without manure and go with the straw or add the manure as if it were horse manure with the straw. thanx

from what I have seen and read people get cakes fully colonized first -spawn them in dung horse/cow then case them.Seems to work well you can use either one i'm sure cow dung worksfine,well because thats where cubies are found in the wild like in texas and oklahoma etc. Gl to ya!!!

Mix the cow manure with straw and innoculate using either crumbled PF cakes or grains. Check out the FAQ for more information on bulk substrates and casings.
