You seem like a pacifist, but in this situation, I would do exactly what many other people have recommended: beat the shit out of your brother, until he starts crying and his fake apathetic shield breaks. He obviously doesn't respect you, and doesn't get any punishment (paying the money back he stole isn't punishment, it's returning to neutral,) and he'll probably do it again. I like the orange suggestion, as there will be no marks yet it will hurt a good deal. Or you could be a Wiccan pacifist, and hope Karma gets them back.  :rolleyes:

I will never understand this. Why is it that just because someone is related to you, the rules somehow don't apply to them? If a friend narced you out, you'd either beat the shit out of him, or just never speak to him again. Oh no but since its his brother, just forget what he did, forgot about the fucking betrayal. BROTHERS DON'T DO THAT TO OTHER BROTHERS. Hard to understand, didn't think so. There is a saying which I'm probably going to screw up, but here it goes: "it takes years to build trust, but just a second to destroy it" and this brother just smashed the bejesus out of trust.

If I were you, I would stay away from him...it doesn't matter if he is family or not, it doesn't change what he did. Hell, I have friends that I consider more of a brother then my own brother, does that mean I should value my relationship with my friend less then my brother, solely because he is family...Of course not.

The first thing you should do is try and talk to your family about this, specifically your brother. This doesn't seem to be working though...

Everyone else says you should resort to violence, but in my unangered mind I'm generally try to be against blatent violence. However, your brother has just done one of the most shit-headed, disgraceful things ever. Especially, because he's your brother. Instead of kicking his ass, you probably should just keep him out of your life as much as possible. Never give him the benefit of the doubt, never help him out on anything.

Then there's the quote I once read "Forgiveness is the best revenge", but your brother's obviously not the slightest bit sorry.

You shoudl definately relax, though. I can certainly understand the paranoia issue, but you should just be cautious relaxed about the situation. Just incase though, if I were you, to help yourself I would start by not doing drugs, and hiding all your drugs/drug paraphenelia (if any) really well. Drinking lots water can somewhat help rid your body of the chemicals from drugs, if you're worried about being drug tested. The case is especially annoying with marijuana because of the fact THC can stay in your system for way too long. Like other peopel said, it wouldn't be the best idea to talk about drugs on anything traceable.

This is one of the things I fucking hate so much about society, war on drugs, and police. Narc. People are such fucking selfish assholes that when they get busted, they'll do almost anything to stay out of legal trouble. It's so awful that people will allow the corrupt pigs to control them by getting them to narc on all their friends, so they get benefits. America is never going to improve it's horrendous prison conditions for this reason- it strikes fear in the hearts of everyone.

if it were me i would not beat the shit outa someone over it (family at least). personally i would invest in a lock and keep my valuebles in a safe place. id do the ignore thing except when hes being respectable. if people stop acting back at the person being a cock then usually in time they change. personally i couldnt turn my back on a close family member, but i would certainly be rough on them and only aknowledge their existence when tehy show that they deserve it.

if he's gone for good, which in my eyes would really fuckign suck, then i guess theres no worries. I'd also clean house and take a leave of absence from illegal activities for a while. and keep money in a bank.

hope it all works out for you, close ones shitting on your trust is hoprrible.

Be careful man. you never know if he'll do it again. listen to this. My twin bro and I grew lots of pot up on a hill across the street. our family knew we smoked and no one really cared to much. we were told to keep it out of the house. our sister came home from nyc thinking she was now a respectful citizen. she was living in nyc at some crashpad. one day my bro and i were manicuring pot in my room. we kept the door shut and didn't mention anything to our sister. she seemed fishy, but nothing unusual. next thing you know there is a cop at my front door looking for my sister. fuck! she called the cops! my mom came home and signed a search warrant. then showed this cop pics of a couple plants i grew the year before. wtf! Bitches, let'em point the finger. my sister lied to the cops saying she saw us carrying water up the hills. total lie. we never did that when she was home. soon after my bro and i moved out into an apartment and totally lost track of our sister. i did not trade gifts or asked anything thing about her. i don't care. fuck her!! she now regrets it, but we have no interest in getting to know her again. she fucked herself. my probation officers were surprised. they understood me completely. i am not a bad guy. expect the unexpected!
