anyone here from australia have experience ordering spores online? are spores legal in aus? heh

yer dude, i live in australia and had no problem with my spores, remember to use sporeworks cuz they have no shipping fee :)

i was talking to someone about this the other day, who mentioned that if you are caught growing mushrooms and the court decides its a possibility that you were going to sell them, your punishment could start from $2000 fine, upto possible prison time..... he will probably answer this thread, if not i will see if he remembers the url.

spores are legal in australia. australia (like most other countries) follows a lot of united states law. drugs are made illegal if they contain substances according to an analog act.

psilocybin and psilocin are the main active ingredients in genus psilocybe mushrooms. only these two active chemicals are illegal. therefore spores are not since they do not contain either of these. the carpophores, however, are. so are (technically) any mycellium cultures, jars, etc... 

if you decide to order from overseas be careful and THINK :smile: don't just do it on a whim, do some research first and you'll know what i mean. if you do order from sporeworks tho please let me know how it goes! i am interested in trying this also... if you want speedy service from within the country may i suggest MMA. speedy service, reasonable prices, and the guy who runs it is the best! i think he is away on vacation temporarily tho :smile:

I have had heaps of spore syringes posted out from all four corners of the globe to Australia, and have had never had any problems, and get this, Australian customs has open my packages several times, and have left pamphlets in my packages telling me the contents were checked, and everything seemed in order!!!

So can any beginner growers who have succesfully grown a strain recommend a supplier/strain? FSRcanada are out of cubensis australia so looks like i gotta buy from a vendor or hope an aussie can help out :wink:
