Reliable Advice on Spore Syringes Needed

Can anyone tell me how to go about making my own spore syringe? I have access to normal syringes used in medicine and my own spore prints that I've made from some wildly growing Psilocybe Cubensis. If some one could either give me a link or give me direct instruction in what to do, I'd be very appreciative. Note: I was formerly known as "The Gnome King", but have changed my alias. I won't be checking any more private messages or emails for that alias, so for those who PMed me, they'll have to do it again if I didn't reply, sorry . Also, for those who read my other posts in this topic (and care at all), I've decided not to use "Shroom Wizard's Grow Guide", I'm going for the one at http://growmushrooms.org instead.

wild mushroom spores could be contaminated, your setting yourself up for possible failure, if you want to ensure succes i would use agar to weed out any contams, and you could choose the most rhizo strain on the dish... Either way, im not sure if id use the wild print, just get one from ralphs spore ring for a few bucks...

I would check out the MMGG for instructions on making a syringe from a print. Many adaptations can be made as long as care is taken in concern to sterile conditions. Personally I think the best way to make a syringe is an adaptation mentioned in the MMGG. Punch a small nail hole through the lid of a 1/2 pint jar such as one used for cakes. Use tape to cover the hole and to tape both pieces of lid together as one. Pressure cook the jars on 15psi for 45 minutes or cook covered on stove in boiling water for a little over an hour. Wait for the jar to cool and go into a clean room with no draft with a fresh mushroom. I would recommend being cautious and wearing a face mask as well. Proceed to quickly take off lid of jar and cut off cap of mushroom to place on bottom of jar. Let sit for 24 hours and then use a scalpel, needle, etc... to remove cap and replace lid. Simply place jar in fridge for future use. When you want to use it just take a syringe filled with sterile water and inject it into jar. Carefully remove lid and scrape print with sterile scapel. Replace lid and withdraw spore solution through nail hole. You can make many syringes at a time in that fashion and it's self contained for easy storage. A magick shroom spirit in holland told me he uses that technique. The above statement is an act of fiction from the dreamworld.

If you took the prints carefully and picked nice, healthy shrooms to take them from, then your chances of success are very good. I have had great success usuing wild prints. Make the syringes from each print seperatly in case one is contaminated. Check out the Wino Tek for syringe making listed on the Links page at the SporeLab.
