jesus..that sounds exactly like the symptoms of a minor heart attack. you should have seriously taken an aspirin like fade-to-black said. any tingling or numbness?

how long did it last for? or is it still going?

you can get minor blockages in that area... I get em sometimes...... no big deal, I think

they used to worry me...... my friend's wife is a nurse, so I asked her, she said it was nothing to worry about

that is assuming you're not some kind of horrible 400lb creature of doom....

You should go get a physical. Chest pains, particularly where you mentioned them could be signs of a heart attack. You may have had a small one, and you should mention it to your doctor and he can check it out and see if you suffered any damage to the heart muscle. Don't fool around with stuff like that.

That sounds like what I get, I was diagnosed with a prolapsing mitrolvalve. It's where there is a leaky valve in your heart and occasionally blood leaks out into your chest, it causes some pretty severe pain sometimes and I have had to lie on the floor before because of it.

Then again, which arm was it that the pain was affecting? I believe it's your left side they say will hurt if you are experiencing symptoms of a heart attack.
