People may want to visit "The Vaults of Erowid" web site and read up in their legal sections. There is some good advice about saying no to searches and such.

have you actually ever been in a situation where you refuse to let them search you?

it doesnt really work. they're cops, they'll do whatever the fuck they want, if they have enough reason for suspicion... which of course they always do.

Police do have many different things they can say to provide them with a search.

"I smell pot" is one of them, even if they don't smell it, they can still say they do.

exactly.

they'll say, for instance in certain parks in the Astoria area "I saw you bent down in the bushes earlier" and thats reason enough to search you.

Well, that was a reading taken by The Vaults of Erowid. Even thought you are correct about the amount being different in certain tests. Even thought liberty caps are more potent than cyans. Every peice of informatin i read said that liberty caps are more potent. Even though i have suspision that azur's, have a natural muscle relaxer in the stem. It seems when i consume them without stems, its a little more cerebal. Meaning i get a heavy mental high. Than when i eat the stems, it relaxs me just a little more. This is not a fact, but i do think there may be some in the stems naturaly. Here is a photo agian of some azurs. These are very potent. Also, the oregon coast is a little easier than in washington. I almost got cought about two times in the washington area. There was alot fo funding on the oregon coast, but the coast guard and local police make up for that. Well, enof input, lets see what comes up.

We aren't trying to discourage you hunters, we just really really really do not want to see fellow shroomers get in serious trouble.

Be very cautious of your surroundings. A good tip Joshua told me, is to pick the mushrooms and make a pile with them. That way if someone walks up there is just some mushrooms chillin on the ground and not in a bag in your hands. After you have the pile ready, check around the area, get up and walk around if you have to. Make sure your in the clear, head back towards the pile, and as quickly as possible bag up the mushrooms and take them to your car, preferrably putting them in a trunk. In situations such as Astoria has been providing, a toolbox with a lock on it in your trunk, for extra security, might help greatlu. After this you can continue your hunt, and after each picking, return to your car again. It isn't a good idea to carry them around with you for very long if police are cracking down.

The key note to hunting. Would have to be that you have a good aliby. Bring a fishing poll, bring a crab net. There are ways of deturing the officers. If you just take your time, and dont make it look more than obviuos, than you will walk away with the most potent mushroom in the world. The charts say so. Just keep in mind, that when you are hunting have a catiuos mind, and a straight one at that. No, but I have never been bothered by cops when picking any mushrooms. Regardless of weather the cops/rangers go ahead and search you or not it is important to make it verbally clear that you do not wish to be searched.  If the search is deamed volentary then the cops need no probable cause. If the search is not volentary then probable cause will have to be proven in court. :smile2:
