PHP NUKE RIPPING
    #3328080 - 11/06/04 05:49 PM (12 years, 4 months ago)

I want to rip a phpnuke site without having to hack/crack the server to get all the files. Is there a way to make a copy of the hole site with a program like HTTrack?

Thanks. :stoned:

Hey -

Sounds like you answered your own question. Without a login for the server, the only way to copy the site is with an offline browsing utility like HTTrack.

Peace,

-Y

As far as your computer is concerned, that's standard HTML. A PHP script runs on the server, what it sends to your browser is straight HTML the same as any web page. I don't have much experience with offline browsers but I know they are increasingly powerful and can handle things like Javascript and DHTML navigational elements. I would guess that any one you download will support PHP just fine, but if you're unsure check the feature list. Since this is the only practical way of accomplishing your goal, it would probably be worth your while to evalute a few different programs before deciding which you want to use. Hopefully you'll be able to find one that meet all your needs.

Peace,

-Y
