man do some soul searching, ponder and weigh out the negs and positives and do what u think u need to, be it leave her or work it out

some people just don't agree with using, i think u should accept she might be one of those people

I'm in the exact same boat, i've been trying for years with no avail except 2 different occasions she's smoked my vaporizer and that was it.

She's still against drugs and things will never change.

I was once like you saying, if i had to choose between her and drugs i'd choose her. But in the end it's a lot more than that. There other underlying causes that are causing her to have a specific attitude about drugs, no matter how much you educate her (believe me, next to me, she's the next best educated person about drugs i know; and she's still not interested). There just other fundamental personality differences that go into making her how she is, and as the relationship goes on you'll start to see that certain other attitudes you might not be able to handle creep in and go together making her who she is and perhaps makes her someone you don't want ot be with.

If you break up with her a little later she might think it's about the drugs (if that becomes an issue soon or not) but it's really more than that, believe me. It'll be very rare that you're compatable in everywhere except a philosphy of drugs. A philosophy of drugs is influenced by many other factors that as you get to konw her you might not like.

Good luck none the less.

dunno thats a tough one, id definatley say try to just educate her on drugs and destroy the drug propaganda that has been imbedded into her by america. And after that just ease her into it and make sure NOT to push her and i dont see why it wont be all good

I've been a tripper since long before my wife met me. The night we met (my 25th birthday) I was on mushrooms. 11+ years later and shes still never tripped. She sometimes gives me shit about my love of drugs but she has never tried to make me be something I am not. That was one reason I knew she was a keeper! She loved me for who I was and didn't try to change me.

If a girl wants to change you then unfortunately shes not the right girl. You are who you are and if you give up something you enjoy just to be with her you will end up resenting her later on. Be honest with her and if she can't accept who you are...well, thats your call...

*update*

I talked to her about it.. she is still resistant, but understands how i feel about it.. so she says "if youre going to do it, dont do it around me and dont leave your "stuff" laying out in the open, because i dont want ot see it. And if i am going to grow mushrooms that she will throw whateve rshe sees away so i had better make sure i put it in a good out of sight spot (her way of saying, i dont care if you do it just dont rub it in my face) Which is fine with me, because ya know what? I have a feeling that one day when we're just sitting home one night and i have shrooms in my safe shes going to want to see them and try them eventually... but she is trying to put up this "toughgirl" routine right now to save face since she still considers herself pretty conservative. But If i know her and i think i do, she is trying to find a way for me to do what i want to do and she can retain her "morality" about it... Not a perfect solution but better than nothing.
