i know what your talking about, I got a djembe and used to bang on it all the time, now i've got a big ol lump in the middle of my wrist so it hurts to drum at all.

Bummer! Djembes rock though! Try micing it and running it through a phase pedal with some distortion! Sounds unearthly!
