nice find. i have been looking for a heater with an external temp control looks like i found it

Great price. Anyone need some old overpriced ones? :smile:

Been looking for a good external control one myself. Tired of cutting tiewraps and adjusting controls to keep the temp right due to the number of jars.

What the hell are you talking about?

That would basically negate the purpose of having a thermostat in the first place.

It doesen't work like that.

Ha ya so am I. I now just leave the one corner un tied so I can get at the heater

Ya know I never had to use zipties ever because I only use enough water to just barely pushup around the top tub when seated and have found it to provide perfectly uniform heating. FYI
