abhorts to pick?

ive noticed a few abhorts are turning dark brownish on my casing. is this time to pickem and how exaaclty do i go about doin this without compromising a contamination coming in? thnx for any help

Just pick them and try not to touch the caseing. You should not have any problems.

i put a small layer of moist verm on top of where i picked the abhorts just as i would ifi picked a full shroom just to be safe. the heads were a dark dark brown, are they still cool to eat?
