Ec`s veil tearing too soon?

Newbie here.... just got 2 great PF tek cakes and some Ecuadors are popping out !!!!! Is just me or should they be taller before the veil is tearing... they are get about and 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches and the veil tears

just pick em right before the viel opens for the best potency, and it doesnt really matter how tall they are.. they just grow like that some times ya know... its natural i think.. i dunno someone else can answer this better than i can since ther are more ppl here that know like 1000 times more about this shit than i do...
