My dog always come to see me, my dog is always with me, whenever he can. There no way he'd leave me until I tell him to leave. When I was on nutmeg I stayed like 2hrs without moving and he stayed near me.

Well its somewhat intuitive that they notice when you are intoxicated on a substance. You see the animals alot more when you are normal and they know how you react. Such as how you know that they have abnormal reactions when you are on drugs. So their different reactions ar based on your different reactions.

My pets aviod me like the plauge if I am trippin.

I belive they can smell  if comming out of your skin, your adrenalin pumping they can smell - your temp increase they notice, your heart rate change they notice.  Animals focus on your eyes also - and your body language is VERY important.

My cats started hissing at me when I was on X -

The only drug my pets do like to be around is Weed.  I seem to have a hard time keep my pets off me when I hit the pipe
