why god why?

I've had a cake in my terrarium for a week now, 85% humidity, 70-85 degree heat. Nothing. NO pins. The mycelium is getting "poofier" in some places, but not others. Should I dunk it or drop the temp down to 65? maybe both? Help me out, I'm soooo close to my first shroom, it hurts!

Nothing of what I say is a personal matter. All cultivation questions are on behalf of counterparts who risk growing. I take no responsibility in being the messenger.

Wait a little longer. Something WILL happen. Either the cake is eventually going to pin, or it will contaminate.

I put an ice pack under where one cake sits in the terrarium and it started poofing out and pinning a day or three later. Might try that..
