Dosing with Mycelium?

Has anyone ever tried dosing with just mycelium?
I have some cakes (Brown Flour+Vermic) and I wanna see if this will work. hey are in .5 pint jars and ALMOST fully colonized. I have a SERIOUS urge to try to extract the Mycelium out of one of these and give it a shot, but I have no idea how well it would work.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks

I would'nt bother if the jars are finished. Just crumble and case. What's to lose?

I just wanted to know if the amount of mycelium in a .5 pint jar was enough for a decent dose.
I have plenty of colonizing jars with 0% contam and just want to give this a shot....
