eating mycelium

I was just wondering if you could eat mycelium and trip off it, can you? The reason why i was wondering this is that i had two of my pf tek jars to get contaminated in one of the innoculation points each and when i broke the cakes apart none of the mycelium from each of the innoculation points were touching (so i dought there contaminated), and i just want to know if i can tripp off the stuff. i would really like to know if anyone has tried it and what the outcome was as well if possible

ive tripped off cakes before. do a search theres alotta info out there. dont listen to those people who tell you you cant trip or that the mycelium does not produce any of the active stuff untill it starts to fruit or watever. adn dont eat the cakes make like a tesa form them, at least thats what i did.

yes acually i do want to trip that bad, i havent in about a month. I didnt ask if it would make me sick or how stupid i was all i wanted to know is if it could work. and anyone that has accualy tried it please tell me.  Im just  pheemin' for a trip :tongue:

I wouldn't recommend eating them (yak) but they do contain alkaloids that you supposedly can extract by boiling them in water and lemon juice.

I personally dry my leftover mycelium and then powder it finely and snort it.

You can do an alcohol extraction resulting in crystals which are anywhere from 25% pure psilocybin/psilosin +. apperently a 50-100mg dose is all thats needed for a strong visual trip.

If your going to eat a contaminated cake:

dry it out and do a methanol extract on it. That way the contam dies and you get mycelium extract.

I can't imagine that eating vermiculite is healthy.  Didn't they ban verm because of health hazards?

Anyway (and I'm just throwing my 2 cents in) if you're really that desperate to trip, you might as well go for the gusto and IV the crystals directly into your brain.  :crazy:

do you think 2 healty full colonized cakes have enough psycolobin in them to give me a nice buzz ? i can't even fruit them becouse im moving soon and don't have time for this now... i'll have to start over in a the new place... if 2 cakes are enough what would reccomend plain eating them... boiling water extraction or some other extraction?
