Trippin' the Light Fandango and Fantastic (Cyans)

So for my B-Day, Boralis and his friend and I went out to hunt.

We had to leave the battery at the station to charge the movement process. Then we walked int he cold damp rainy Seattle air and found a few young children laying in wat for us to come upon their presence. IT was a most awesome site to see them where they did not grow for almost 5ive years.

Here are some not so great fotos of this hunt.

The first three iamges are Namatoloma species but they are Canary Yellow. SOmethign wrong with my li9ghting and the rain did not help because the camera kept getting wet.

Here are three images of the Namatoloma shrooms. They were3 growing off of an recently sawed piece of an arm size thick branch.








And here are a few of the Psilocybe cyanesccens shrooms we saw this morning. I did not take a lot of images and actually had to delete 12 pictures from what I took as blurred.













That last one was just oozing with joy at seeing me there in their company. SO I took a closeup of the ooze separating these two caps from one another. What a cool find.

Not many but a nice Birthday present.

nice find. I went by that one spot, and found the Stuntzii's there again. The lawn mowers came by earlier today and trashed them - (The grass was really long when I drove by last night, but was too dark, and there were people out there). Still gathered up what was left though.

Also found those red Amanita muscaria that you had told me would be popping up.

No cyan finds for me yet. But I haven't really had much time to be out lately.

And Happy Birthday! I didn't even realize today was a holiday.

Happy birthday again MJ! Thanks for the great company and all of the awesome info this morning. Too bad your other cyan pics didn't turn out. . . hopefully Borealis has some backups. We'll have to adventure again sometime soon!

BTW the cyans were great this morning =P
