Sci-fi tv shows/movies

There were some awsome scenes in the season premier of the x-files. This one scene was great when this android/ alien/human/clone/weopon stuck his hand right through the elevator and got skinner right in the foreheard. Great directing. I used to really like the x-files, used to be the best sci-fi show on t.v. at one time, then it kinda got wierd like this one episode i remember when these inbred mutated hicks kept there mom on a dolly underneath the dresser, whom might I add had no arms or legs, that shits just plain wierd. -As a sidenote I'm watchin Earth: Final Conflict, which totally rules It's so involved and intense. It's by my opinion currently the best sci-fi show on t.v.. I would have to say the only series that really equalled it was star trek. but star treks old, and Earth: Final Conflict is new and cool. I highly recommend it, sundays at 12:00pm est

It kinda sucks in a way, cause so many people make lame sci-fi's. I think these people really give sci-fi a bad name Fox's sci-fi's mostly suck. Like that bullshit dark angel, and a million others I noboby remembers, although I did used to like one called VR-7, what the hell ever happened to that anyway. I hate that cheesy lame stupid shit aimed at the under educated masses

I saw HIDDEN TIGER CROUCHING DRAGON because of all the ranting I've been hearing about. It totally SUCKED ASS. Who knows maybe the japs or chinease or whatever are in to that type of shit who knows, but what american would actually LIKE that crap.

On the other side of sci-fi's, give me the Matrix a bag of mushrooms, and the omni-theater, and I'm a happy man. There was a time when scifi was all cheesy, but I think with today's computers and philosophies were starting to see a rebirth of sci-fi. For isn't it through the dreams of science fiction that we will blaze a path into the future for mankind.

I really only like Sci-fi when it's negative about humanity's future. Some of my fav. sci-fi films include Outline, Alien, Blade Runner, Aliens, The Terminator, and The Road Warrior (sci-fi in that it's post apocalyptic).

BTW, The Matrix sucks.
