Movies to Shroom-n-See 1

This has probably already been posted. Anybody want to suggest films that would be good to see while under the influence of psychedelics? I have only done it once. I saw the first 20 minutes of "Planet of the Vampires" by Mario Bava. The person I was with suggested leaving. I never did get to see the rest of that. It seemed very good to me! Leave your favorite suggestions of films to "Shroom-n-See". I will start by beating you all to the punch with: REPO MAN!! And let me get these too: "Willard" "The Bad Seed" "Lady in a Cage" "Batman: The Movie" (from the early sixties) and Awe shit.... ...that one with the no-name actor: "Wild in the Streets"!!!

Oh my god.... Scratch all my suggestions (except Repo Man- I'll stand by that). The
rest belongs to a catagory called "Toke-n-Joke Cinema" --"Lady in a Cage" .... what was I thinking? I wonder if it's even a good idea to try and watch a movie while tripping.
Think I'll go buy a pack of "Tourneys" and practice air-guitar to "Freebird" now.

Hahahaha! Agreed. American Beauty was an eye-opening film sober (shroomin' would probably make it a breakthrough experience). I havn't seen Half-Baked either.

It all depends on whatever mood your in, I'd say. For sheer entertainment, check out any old Godzillia movie or anything else on television that is off the wall (Telletubbies, Disney, or my beloved Cartoon Network). If you want to get deeper though, eat that fungi and turn on the orignal Woodstock 2-VHS set (or DVD, whatever), it was an experience I will always treasure. Or perhaps a good Hitchcock movie or Oliver Stone's "The Doors."
I wouldn't be able to sit and watch the Tv though. It would drive me nuts.
Peace.

american beauty is a great movie to see if your really confused the fuck from a serious MIND FUCK! your your trippin balls and don't know whats up from down...watch it after your peak, it'll be one movie experience thats really fun....makes you laugh about the movie (i think its cause you get to feel like you understand what everyone is going through...)
my favorite movie that i loooooooooooove to shroom and watch....LORD OF THE RINGS : FELLOWSHIP OF THE RINGS. I've done it 2 times already. Its such a great movie. For some reason, it enhances the imagination!

I can tell you what movie not to see: Imposter (Gary Sinise)
This was the worst thing I have ever done on mush!!! Just before it started I went to the washroom and dosed. For the first 30 -45 mins the movie was just a normal god-awful sci-fi shitbox, but after the mush kicked in it turned into a truely terrible experience. I wasnt having a 'bad' trip, as they say, but the movie was annoying beyond words. I absolutely could not concentrate on the plot, in fact it was almost impossible to concentrate on the screen at all. It was in a movie theater and the loud noise didnt help my state of confusion. My friend (who didnt dose) said that I looked like a down-syndrome patient because I kept giggling and squirming around in my seat.
there was alot of those fight scenes where the camera doesnt show you whats happening, it just has alot of shot cuts of a punch and then it swerves around and shows you someone falling down. IT WAS TERRIBLE, I was completely disoriented by the fast pased camera jerking. By the end of the movie i could finaly concentrate a little bit on the screen and noticed only the last minute or so, which was a terrible story - it turns out he WAS the bomb, but oh wait, no, hold on, its his wife! Shit I didnt get it. When the final credits FINALY rolled, I burst out laughing in front of the whole theater, which didnt seem to matter because i think the entire audience agreed with me, and was oh-so-very thankful that it was finaly over.
In re-cap, dont see Imposter on mush.
