cant put animated gif pictures in anymore...

it automatically thumbnails them into a clickable pic now so it doesnt show them animated it just shows the picture in a frame and u have to click it to see......lame! :thumbdown:

heres an example.....i couldnt get hypnotoad to flash his eyes in the post....it just thumbnails the picture so u have to click it to see.

You have to link to it off-site. If you have it uploaded and use an image tag, the new system automatically places in the thumbnail. My guess is this is to prevent people from posting large pictures and eating up bandwidth, would have been simpler if everyone had just done as asked, and stopped posting full sized images hosted by this site.

Maybe it could be adjusted so that smaller pictures and GIF's could bypass this new filter, if they're about the same size as the thumbnail would be anyway, but I have no clue if that's possible.

This is deffinitely something that will be considered . But give me some time.

The image upload now resizes animated gifs to animated thumbnails.
Please report if you notice anything unusual.
