sweet, i have some jars that just battled some of that shit and I'm going to case them soon. I was hoping that i wouldn't toxic =]

Just remember to be cautious regardless. . .
Bacillus subtilis is only one species of Bacillus, I can think of a couple that are going to be common grain contaminants. In general Bacillus is pretty benign.

BUT

In the case of jars, it's hard to be certain that you ONLY have Bacillus contamination. Seeing some sludge in a jar that looks like 'textbook wet spot' doesn't mean that other bacteria aren't in there.

If the degree of contamination is small and localized, casing/spawning can be safe and successful. . .but always be cautious when trying to continue with questionable spawn/substrate, whether it looks like Bacillus or not.
