I found a couple interesting mushrooms around my yard today/night.

A huge agaricus and my lovely girlfriend:





Haven't made an ID but these fellers are all over my yard and planters:

That's an ID I had considered too...but I'm not sure about it.

I looked at them in the market and their stems are WAY shorter than all of the agaraci that are showing everywhere.

Do you thinks that's it though???

They are cultivated that way and harvested at a more immature age. I took a spore print and it had a real strong almond smell like most agustus do...

I'm pretty sure its agaricus agustus.

Well then...I just saw them at the market for $6.99 a pound...and where I live there's hundreds of them!

Time to get my drier ready maybe...
