Just gotta vent

Why is it that everytime i buy something new, something doesn't work. I could cite examples, but it has happened for literally everything that i have ever bought. It never works on the first go. Not once. Ever.

Got a new pressure cooker today and the same thing happens. I swear to fucking jesus there's something wrong with this picture. When i work for money, and put it into something i want, it should work. Fuck people that do halfassed work, because it always hurts someone else in the end. Fuck this, i'm so pissed off. 90 dollars *flush* down the drain. Fuck Manttra, and fuck Walmart. I hope your guys day has been better than mine.

Buy a new one, take it out of the package carefully, put broken one inside and take that back or call up the company if wal-mart won't help. I guess you may have tried this.

There is lesson in all this, Wal-Mart is not your friend.

Yeah dude.... if something doesn't work from Wal-Mart (it is shit to begin with.....) take it right back and get another one.

My screwing over Wal-Mart story:  I made a hookah out of a large acrylic cookie jar, which had an airtight seal and a little latch thing. I had to drill a few holes thru the lid in order to put in the drop tube and the hoses. While drilling one of the holes for the hose the thing cracked all the way thru... So I took a large rock from my fish tank, bashed up the lid so it wasn't completely obvious we had been drilling holes thru it....  And took it back and got a new lid.  I told the guy at the counter....  "It broke"  And he had me go get a new one.  Perfect.  :thumbup:  :bong:

Wal-Mart (and most major discout retailers) make so much money that they'd rather take a teeny-tiny loss on something you buy and keep you happy so you'll come back and buy more crap from them.

Totally take it back. My brother bought a bike from wal-mart and trashed it (not sure how, but he can be a dumb kid). He took it back to wal-mart with his little recipt and got a brand new one. He trashed the second one, I even saw it, not sure how he survived riding it! He took that back and got another new one! He did this I think 5 or 6 times until wal-mart told him that he was a moron and should stop trashing his bike or go buy a really good strong one.

Now, that is a story of exploitation and stupidity, so I'm sure that you can get a product that works when it honestly isn't your fault :wink:

How did it not work...? I didn't get the one I have at Walmart, but didja~ know that you have to put vasoline on the sealing contact points - where the lid meets the pot...? ::::shrugging shoulders::::
