My fiance gets to go, I think she's going to Munich, but I'm not sure, the lucky bitch.

Lucky. I'll be drinking and eating German food, but I can't smoke until November. I hope it's still nice fall weather around then.

I wonder how freely people can smoke weed at the Oktoberfest. Germany is principally liberal in many places, but Munich is a more conservative city, the cops are nastier. I have friends who study there and they have told me stories about the police there...
