Misting cakes after dunking?

Is it nessacary to mist cakes after dunking?
Mine hadn't pinned yet so I dunked it for 24 hours. Four pins have shown but that's it.

you just took it out of a water bath, you think a mist will encourage pins? nah only thing to do is wait. 4 pins may turn into 8 pins in a few days
