Too man users?

i tried to log on earlier, but it said too many users were logged on. I've never seen this before, and I was just wondering what was going on.

Previously the search engine optimization script handeled all anonymous users that came to the boards via the search engines as one user, and now it shows every single user. This way the true amount of people visiting the board is shown.

How many times did it say that, and how long did it take you to login?

It only said it a few times, and after I refreshed the page a few times, it let me on. It must have just been at the threshold of the max users.

it did the same thing to me, but i just clicked main index and then it was fine.

Did the same thing to me. Wouldn't let me log in for about 5 minutes or so.

When I did get logged in, it listed 163 anonymous users!

I bumped the user limit up to 350 from 250. Hopefully this will eliminate the error messages without affecting our performance too much.
