do you guys thing if you hold in the smoke longer you get more stonde if just been trying it out and i whant to find out what you all think

I don't so much think you'll get that much more THC by holding it in, but you do get dizzier and more lightheaded from simply holding your breathe

yea thats what i do is hold for a few sec but then others say hold it longer you get higher iv tryed it you just seem to get light headed

I have the book:

Buzzed:The straight facts about the most used and abused drugs
from alcohol to ecstasy.

it says 7 seconds is the absorption rate in the lungs and holding it in any longer
will not do anything.

Probably because all the smoke has settles, and get stuck on your lungs.

The longer you hold your breath with the smoke, the longer your lungs have to absorb all the thc they can- to a point. You can't hold one hit forever and get stupid (unless it's really good stuff!). The down side is that the longer you hold a breath, the longer your lungs have to absorb all the bad things that come with smoke as well, not just the good stuff. Don't hyperventillate on us :wink:

ive found that the longer you hold it in the less smoke you blow out so that would indicate to me that the more time given the more it absorbs.. plus breath control (such as holding your breath) is an amazing way to alter your conciousness. since breath is your life force (prana to hindus, chi to asians) depriving onesself of what they need is obviously a way to focus less on physical and more on spiritual

neither is putting smoke into your lungs.. or polluting the environment .. sacrafice is healthy /holding your breath for hours is not what i was getting at haha

I think it doesnt make that much of a difference. Just dont exhale completely. The best thing i can think is take a deep of a breath after you fill/inhale. Then exhale. I usually keep the smoke in my lungs for 10 seconds or so.

In highschool we used to do the game where you where not aloud to blow out the smoke until the pipe got back to you....

It does make you more stoned. This is because THC is absorbed by the fatty tissue in the lungs. Although I'm sure the simple act of holding your breath intensifies the experience somewhat...
