And my grandfather died.

My grandfather was in a lot of pain (he had cancer), so I'm OK with it. Sometimes death is better.

The postcard thing was great. We printed labels and stuck them to all the cards with our address and a place for people to accept / decline, and then we got postcards in the mail for several months.

We got a cat today. She's adorable. We got her from a shelter. They might have had to put her to sleep soon. Nobody wants an adult cat that is declawed, they just want crazy kittens.

Pictures are slowly coming in (no professional yet, just amateur so far).
Not sure if i'll post one to Shroomery or just PM them to interested parties. Probably post it, who cares?

Captain Jack the band died on December 5, 2002 of natural causes (old age). We released two CDs, "It Tastes Good" (1999) and "Nowhere Fast" (2001). We have, however, been discussing the secret underground creation of the Long Lost Captain Jack EP. The other two guys in the band are still my close friends (2 of the 4 groomsmen at the wedding, actually), and we miss it some (the playing part, not so much the shows part).

It really sucks to watch someone die from cancer. My grandpa died from colon cancer.
