i accidentally bought pre-stamped postcards instead of regular stamps. could i just cut off the stamp and glue it on a regular envelope?

it is only 23 cents but if i put two on it would cover the normal 37 cent postage rate

but then its paying more then you need to instead of buying one stamp...but a few cents shouldn't hurt ya.
