Dreams where your teeth are falling out...

Does anyone else get this?
I've had them off and on since I was young..
Lately they've been more frequent, I had 2 in a row last night.

These dreams are fucking disturbing for some reason. Sometimes my teeth are RIPPED out of my skull, sometimes they just rot out.

Does anyone have any ideas about what it could symbolize besides the fact that I should probably brush more?  :grin:

but don't believe those dream interpretation books...

I had them more when I was younger too. Thier wierd, because it feels so real.

i had a horrifying dream a few nights ago and i was crying SOO hard through out the whole dream, i don't think i was actually crying though cause my face was dry. But it was soooo intense and fucked up. And it was just cause my bike and ipod got stolen...i don't know why i was crying, cause in real life i would just get SUPER PISSED.

never had a dream like that.. or heard of anyone having one.

i cannot imagine dreams about your teeth coming out being an omen
for the death of someone you know, though.

do you have any kind of oral fixation? if so, perhaps you have some
unconscious fear of having your mouth hurt. i could see that being the
case, as having your teeth ripped out sounds pretty scary/painful.

..I have had those a bunch of times..it is strange...at first in my dream they felt like a lot of them were loose and I kept trying to hold them back in by closing my mouth...I don't remember details though...

That could be a part of it - maybe its your body reaching out to your mind in its sleep, going "hey dude uhh your teeth are taking damage right now.."

I used to have them once or twice a week, when I was in the army.
The dream is about the mouth, the mouth is used for talking. So its probably that your not saying or voicing out something you need to.
My dreams stopped when I told all my commanding officers off, and let them know I thought they were morons.

All of your interpretational ideas are good... Dreams are so subjective, it's frustrating.

The teeth dreams fucking SUCK! Even worse than the dreams where I die. They are so realistic, I wake up and feel my teeth and when I find they aren't ripped out, I am so relieved.

I had a dream like this the other day, the roof of my moth fell out and i put it back in but it was upside down and it didnt fit right, it was fucked up!

it's going... i'm still working on getting a good isolate. :wink:

so, since I quit smoking weed, i keep dreaming that my penis falls off,
last night i tried to reattatch it, but it had all kinds of frayed wires,
