one bedroom apt: $800-2000

two bedroom apt: $1800+

homes (3 bed 2 bath): $400,000+

gas : $2.12 (for regular)

a gallon of milk: eh - don't drink milk

pack of malboro: $5.10

bridge toll: $4 for throgs neck bridge - back and forth

lost liscense: $20

train ticket: $8.50 each way

subway: $2.00

movie ticket: $9.50

Well, sorry for derailing. But you should check out living in Russia. It is so amazing how good you can live for so little. Also it has amazingly hot and loose girls there. I'm just pissed i went because it spoiled me.

I must agree with you, DON'T MOVE TO CALIFORNIA! As a matter of fact, more people should leave the state and we should deport the fucking illegals who throw their diapers and other garbage in the rivers and otherwise pollute the wilderness areas - it's a god damn shame.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

A while back I read about the most expensive housing in the country, the top four (not in any particular order) were Silicon Valley (CA), Boston (MA), San Diego (CA) & Orange County (CA).

Yes Kai', California cost a grip to live in. Mind you the cost of Housing has gone up rought 25% over the past two years.

You can make soap from animal fat and wood ash, condoms who need dem I never new a possum with aids, though I did see one running around with what looked to be 6 lil kids clinging to its back. They made good jerky though.

I'm not in the habit of ripping apart small animals from the inside - it tends to hurt my pecker when I force it into small places, I prefer two legged humanoid type critters... but to each his own.

3 bed 2 bath house where i'm from is a quarter mil.
gas is about $2.
milk is, well, i don't buy milk.
cigarettes: 4.50 a pack

Hey, all.

Costs, for Humboldt County, California:

Food -- probably average compared to most of the US.
Gasoline -- $2.45 a gallon for regular. They barge it in.
Housing -- 3 bedroom 2 bath -- $300,000.
Rent -- 2 bedroom apt -- $1,200 /month.

Even the rural areas of the state have gotten really expensive in the last few years, especially housing which is crazy. But it is beautiful, and the laws aren't so bad, except the crazy prohibition that prevents residents from even studying spore prints, for example. I, personally, wish upon a star that I could find some brownish purple prints to study. Guess I'll just have to collect the wavy caps and make my own prints.

All in all, this part of the state is pretty cool.

From what I have heard recently, the law enforcement attitude in the area has changed considerably in the past several years. I hear there are TONS of methheads in the area now too. I hope this info is wrong, because it used to be a beautiful place.
