Lets talk movies.

I rent alot of DVDs but lately I've been hard pressed to find good movies I havn't seen so I need some suggestions. Everyone has a few favorites not found on the beaten path so please post any diamonds in the rough that you consider "must see" movies. Any recommendations are appreciated.

i highly recommend 'run lola run'...theres another movie like that...i cant remember rite now tho....

"Go" is kinda like "Run Lola Run".

Also try to find "The Limey" or "Being John Malkovich". "Yellow Submarine" is a must. And "What Dreams May Come". And "Dune", make sure it's the original, not the SciFi channel remake.

Can't say enough good things for "Magic" with Anthony Hopkins (don't let the title fool ya)

"Search for the Golden Chalice" is hilarious because it's so damn cheesy

Anthony Hopkins is my favorite actor. Check out "Titus", with him in it. Fantastic movie, it's based on a play by Shakespeare. Definately worth watching.

Yes Titus is awsome, so is Velvet Goldmine. But I'm a big fan of Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Gormenghast was a good movie. Actually a minni series from the BBC. I'm sure it will be out on DVD someday.

13BR, we have similar tastes in movies because I loved Smoke Signals and Once Were Warriors. I reccomend both to everyone as well, especially the latter.

i cant remember the title,i think it was "sleepers" or something like that.
its about these kids that get sent to a kids prison and get sexual assaulted by the guards.
its got brad pitt and a few other big actors.
anybodyy know what im talking about?

not necessarily.

Just because you watch a horror film on acid doesn't mean you'll have a bad trip. Sure Jacob's Ladder is scary, but that doesn't mean that your trip will be bad.
