right science and religion are both ways of finding answers to mankind's aching questions, but IMO religion says "here's how it is and we can't prove it so HAVE FAITH, and on top of that, don't fuck your buddy's wife and don't steal from people, and you'll end up in a fiery inferno if you do.." Science says "here's how things are according to our experiments.. make whatever huge explosions you'd like and have fun destroying the Earth.." is that "religious?"

how about you worship LOVE instead of a religion?

and throw in some respect for all other living beings, some kindness, thoughtfulness, respect, caring, honesty, generosity, (and maybe a few shrooms) and that should be enough...

after you've poured several 10s of thousand dollars into your search for self-knowledge (and have been certified "clear") you can use your newly freed "other 90% of your brain" (that us non-clears never use) to come to the realization that you have just blown a years' pay on a scam...

Are you so insecure of what some religion says?

Hell is place inside of you, which you create so is heaven for the only thing external to you is nothing, everything that you experience is inside of you. Hell is when you sin, and the only person that knows you sin is you, the products you created with your conscious will manifest to balance out what ever imnbalance was created. Also i think Mark or Matt (one of the apostels) wrote a few sentences in the bible 'backing up' the use of the commonly known psychoactive mushroom Amanita Muscaria.

Also science is the product of mankinds action at the garden of eden "by the way garden of even is a metaphor, just like a lot of the stuff in the bible" thats why i like Buddhism straight forward and practical.

Is that all science is based on? creating a quencher for our thirst to power? at least religion is based on informing us about right and wrong and telling us there is punishment and judgement, also religion doesnt FORCE its beleifs upon me as in the this latter day of the law where this thing called science and other forms are knowledge are forced upon me for at least 1/9 or so of my life. Religion never asked, correction took that away from me. That is why i will always have higher respect for religion even if it is based on bullshit as so many people beleive it to be.

For why do i need power when i havent even mastered my mind which contains to much power for me to handle. Ever heard the saying power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts? absolutely true, to abuse power for personal gain will only be your loss, now why should the human race have people with such a motive like this, when there are people who are enlightened who can treat me with equalness? I dont want all these physical possesions, (ill make the most of them since i have them) for when i indulge in a activity i become that activity for that period of time (i.e. doing maths, eating chocolate cake) but it wont last for ever so i have a desire to get more but i cant get it all the time causing me to suffer. For where attention goes energy flows and if energy goes no where it stays inside me, you see?

Also religion has already 'contacted' god and science is far off.
For suffering is inherent with desire. You desire knowledge you keep grasping for this knowledge, this power but you will never grasp it, you get angry and persist but never attain it, you suffer because you cant have what you want. Religion tells us to be satisfied with what we got for it is enough, God gave me this mind, i have no use for it so i return it to him, surrendering my mind to the lord but he rejects and rewards with contentness and peacefulness which are much greater than power for they can resist the temptaition. Peacefulness and contentness dont harm anyone so that corresponds with what i feel is necessary from every human, i cant force it open anyone so ill just force it onto myself as i was granted me, therfore i can do what i want with me.

Abuse power and power abuses you.
Abuse love and love abuses you

Im not saying science is wrong im saying its wrong for me, for the above reasons, they are what i beleive and you can see it from my view if you wish, because trying new things is good, and if the new things are worse you can always change back!

Since and religion are both faithes. Both try to describe what will happen in the future. Both have the same methods of proofment. Science in a small and minimalised way, religion in a huge and global way.
That's why science develops faster, because it faster gets prooves. Religion's proove is more abstract, longterm and not easy to put in terms, but basically it fits to the same experimental preconditions.

Every believe, may it be science or religion or others will prove 'afterwards'.

And now, the spookey thing: Science does not exclude g*d. They go to an approach for each other and some day, they will melt to a new superknowledge, I am quite sure.
