Want an id on these -pics- think some kind of amanita

Well, i was driving up the driveway today, and out in the middle of the field to the left of me were like, 50-60 of these mushrooms, all very large like these. The cows had been through earlier and trampled a few, but I grabbed some intact ones for pics. I live in South Carolina, and they were found in a cow field growing in grass where dung may have been. Don't seem to change color much when bruised. I can't say much more. I think they are some kind of amanita but can't find anything really close in pics.

They're some kind of Lepotia. Don't have any books on me to narrow it down to a species. Could be Chlorophyllum molybdites, but the gills don't look green. Take a spore print.

No green at all. I will look into your guess. Thanks! Oh, forgot something. The stem feels hollow to the touch, but when broken open it is filled with a white silky substance, very dry. The white stuff is like little strands. Don't yet have the facility to do spore prints and stuff. Soon I will.

I have a patch of those growing in my backyard, some in the grass and some sprouting from wood chips/pine needles. If you're in SC I'm real close to you so it's probably the same ones. :peace:
