So I think I have found the best Dead show ever....

5-8-77 Ithica, NY. they absolutely nail every song perfectly. highlights of the show are.. well every single song is perfect!!! i couldnt ask for a better set! Phils bass sounds exceptionally good. i found a better (192 kbps vbr) quality version of the MP3's on Soulseek where the vocals sound louder, if anybody wants it get at me.

can't wait to see them Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:  :mushroom2:

if anybody has suggestions of shows that top this one, post it up!

I like this show alot but I still think there is plenty that are just as good if not better.

5-9-77 is a great one also.. Everything in May is wonderful.. The first Terrapin show is wonderful as well but I can't remember the date.

Great show yes but there were many just as good on that run!

I still have my ticket stub from that show somewhere

I agree compleeeeetely. Dancin in the Streets blows me away every time I listen to it. And I'm not normally a fan of Scarlet Begonias, but every time I hear it from that show, I fall in love with the Dead all over again.



Ripple, I'm so jealous of you. I would be in heaven if I was at that show!



Synthesis, I'm going Sunday too. Should be mind blowing, SPAC was.
