listening to "all things must pass" right now & really diggin it! for those of you who havent heard it, its a 2-disc set of songs he had in mind when the beatles broke up. so he went into the studio with some friends (clapton, ringo, billy preston, ginger baker, even phil collins!) and recorded a bunch of gems. you've probably heard "my sweet lord" and "what is life," but there are many more great ones. plus cool cover art:

Perhaps George didn't have the best solo career of the fabs...
But I gotta say All Things Must Pass is definitely THE best solo album by a Beatle, period!
...but any Beatle-maniac has got to admit that Lennon's "Plastic Ono Band" is a very close one in that category !
Anyone a fan of John's first like me here?
