Actually, its the LACK of true religon that is destroying our god given world.

Wether you believe in god or not, you have to believe that in order for humans to sustain life peacefully, disease free, and happy.....there are guidlines our rules and citizens of earth must adhere to.

Selflesness, Honesty, and Service are a main part.

But also....the reason our world is in the condition today is because of sinning. I'm not speaking from a religious sense, i'm speaking from a moral sense. People have always seemed to care more about sense-pleasures than carring about achieveing enlightenment or peace, which is our purpose here.

So yea...basically humans are destroying this planet because we desire everything. We desire all the wrong things (sense-pleasures) and ignore all the great things we could inherit (The gift of curing all disease, the gift of world peace, the gift of heaven on earth, the gifts of complete joy and selflessness)

Lack of true religion, maybe. Look at this:

WASHINGTON - Economists searching for reasons why some nations are richer than others have found that those with a wide belief in hell are less corrupt and more prosperous, according to a report by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
...
The St Louis Fed drew on work by outside economists who studied 35 countries, including the United States, European nations, Japan, India and Turkey and found that religion shed some useful light.

"In countries where where large percentages of the population believe in hell, there seems to be less corruption and a higher standard of living," the St. Louis Fed said in its July quarterly review.

For instance, 71 percent of the U.S. population believe in hell and the country boasts the world's highest per capita income, according to the 2003 United Nations Human Development Report and 1990-1993 World Values Survey.

Ireland, not far behind the United States in terms of income, likewise has a healthy fear of a nether world with 53 percent of the population acknowledging hell's existence.

What the majority of people believe will become what the country is, for the most part. If mostly everyone believed in peace and love, America would be a much better place. As it is, most people believe in money, survival of the fittest and social status, the capitalistic beliefs, and this is reflected strongly to be our country

The way to change the world is to change the population, but this is nearly impossible for us scattered revolutionaries. In the end the experiences of the people will determine what tomorrow they will decide, assuming we're still alive

So long as you are praised think only that you are not yet on your own path but on that of another.
