Crossbows do rule, but my good friend, Mr. Broken Bottle is also quite convinving and far more easily accessible.

[ETA]
Oh yeah!  My first bit of agar is showing signs of life after givin it a good rub down w/ a spore swab!  Got some gremlins alongside it, but I just gotta whip up some more agar and try my hand at cleanup and transfers.

Ohh, it's so exciting!
