Your connection was valid and historically supported  tally lines were straight knife slits into sticks to keep track of stuff, couldnt be easily intricate without splitting the grain or whatnot so the straight line system was the jazz and then the romans further developed it and yeah, twas easier to cut straight lines into wood and stone they were like "this  is the tits lets keep on doing this"

so yeah man you're out there discovering ancient reasonings and whatnot, feel the connection to your ancestors

First PB&J of my life

You Americans are on to something.

I was never a fan of peanut butter cos the time I tried it I tried it from the spoon. And I’m a bit weird about textures and it felt like licking a towel.

It’s growing on me tho

Hmm..  well you gotta do crunchy peanut butter.  But also pull the crust off, pinch the seams shut to make a pocket and toast that shit a little.

Uncrustable, yo.

Also though, my ancerstors were celts.  They had some weird ass numbering systems way before the roman empire but nobody knows what it was now...

I suspect it was the same numerals and the romans just stole it.

Clearly a peanut butter noob here. Will try the crustless slightly toasted version tomorrow.

I bought the PB cos I wanted to make this peanut bars typical from Argentina called Mantecol. It’s freaking good and wanted to do the homemade version but been too lazy to even bother.
