I made a lamb leg the other day, it was hard to get the meat off that was close to the bone, I'd say I got maybe 80% of the meat off and the last 20% was hard to get off, so I gave it to my dog, she was super psyched I gave her a fricken leg lol and her dog teeth got the meat off quick

I threw random shit together, y'all might think this is gross idk, but I thought it was okay

In a pot I put a can of gravy, a can of peas, 4 table spoons of butter and roast pork sliced thin like in ramen, the pork was cooked last night

It was high carb for what i usually eat, might have kicked me out of keto, the peas alone are 30g carb but only 20 net cause fibre, and the gravy was 10g for the whole can, I assume from wheat

Peanut chicken and shitake stir fry - when I actually get up off my butt to cook I'll grab a pic.

My grocery store has been out of green onions for what feels like ages  Wondering if there's some kind of recall. I got some regular onion for the stir fry and chives to garnish.

That sounds amazing 😍. Never thought about using duck in a curry.

I can't wait to see a pic of your peanut chicken and shitake stirfry that sounds delish.

The duck curry was SO good. They really nailed it and the duck was prepared perfectly. It was so succulent and really paired nicely with the heat and the sweetness of the pineapple.

I got a tooth pulled yesterday by the oral surgeon so I can't eat anything too heavy in spices.

Ground beef flavored with coriander, cumin, turmeric, and fennel seed powders, and 2 lb of tomatoes, reduced, with 5 aloha Bell peppers. I didn't put anything in it, not even salt. Reducing the tomatoes a lot makes it extra sweet. I never realized how sweet tomatoes were until I reduced most of the water out.

I got a good deal on this ground beef from halal market, only $4 per pound. That deal is gone now. It's back to $9/lb, still not as bad as the white corporate owned grocery stores.

I'm glad I have free electric at night. If I had to pay for all this cooking at night, reducing the water in the tomatoes, my electric bill would easily be $400+

First bowl, leftovers cooked in broth.
Broth, kim chi juice, pork juice from country ribs, fish sauce, solids a couple ounces leftover lamb burger, kim chi, lions mane, shiitake.

The broth was too salty, I didn't eat much. But was too good to not make another bowl.

Second bowl, broth from first bowl back into the pot, Resinous polypore broth, some more Kim chi juice and a little water. Solids, 2 ounces of pork, Kim chi, 3 ounces of an oldish Laetiporus cinninatus, 3 ounces cooked chopped chantrelles.

This broth had much flavor. I ate mostly a solids so I'd have a starter for the third bowl.

Third bowl, broth from second, a couple ounces of Resinous polypore broth. Solids, 2 ounces of chopped deboned chicken thighs, 3 ounces of sauerkraut,  3 ounces chopped grifola frondosa, 1/4 ounce dried tiny black morels, 2 ounces of frozen spinach.
