Everybody does drugs because they don't like reality. What do you think the world would be like if we didn't have coffee or caffeine? Maybe people would sleep longer or wake up at a more reasonable time and maybe we wouldn't work ourselves to the Bone.

People wake up and they immediately go to the caffeine because they don't like that tired shit feeling they have in their head as soon as they wake up from 8 hours of sleep. Honestly I hate sleep inertia.

5-7 grams of tea is my go to the first hour after I wake up.

Did you know nicotine lowers your blood level of caffeine by shortening its half-life? So people who smoke cigarettes can drink more coffee than the average person. You ever notice that heavy smokers will usually drink a pot of coffee in a day if not more? You ever notice there's always at least one or two huge giant coffee pots in an alcoholics or narcotics anonymous meeting while quite a few people love to smoke their cigarettes?

It's not just coincidence.

I did not know that, that's pretty nuts actually. I was definitely more of a caffeine fiend when I smoked.

I only drink tea because I can drink as much as I want and not crash but still be able to sleep at night. I stopped drinking coffee in 2020. Recently my work had a free coffee truck that showed up for everyone and I figured what the hell if it's free I might as well have some. I had two shots of espresso and I felt like I had done cocaine.

I mean it was cool because I had to wake up early that day but on a normal day that would not be my thing. Would rather not feel like I'm on cocaine.

Doing cocaine itself is boring. But it surges your dopamine so much that you think you're having fun so you just keep doing it. Imagine doing something really boring like I don't know mowing the lawn or something. But imagine that it made your brain think you were having fun so you just keep mowing the lawn even though it's boring in and of itself. That's what cocaine is.

My stance on coke has always been "Should you do coke? Probably not. Should you have coke? Honestly, yes".
Treat it like a rare set of plates, a spare tent or caulking. You won't need it immediately but just in case it's good to gradually save up 8 grams.

Especially nowadays being able to manifest clean coke on a whim is an incredibly potent trick.
