I agree with the points made in the letter. His actual foreign policy while in office however reads differently. Saudi Arabia never got a bill. It got his first foreign trip and a sweetheart arms package. Israel and Egypt were exempted from his aid freeze on day one, nobody asked whether they could afford their own defense. Argentina got a $20 billion rescue while American farmers watched Argentine soybeans take their China sales.

Ukraine had its aid held up over personal favors, North Korea's aid increased. Billions in aid (concessions...) have been offered to Iran.

As for the deficit the letter promised to end, he actually grew it. Deficits rose roughly 50% in his first three years, during a boom, before COVID. 2020 was the largest deficit in American history at $3.1 trillion. This year's budget runs over $2 trillion. Total debt just passed 121% of GDP, breaking the record set after World War II.

Tariffs raise prices, deficit-financed tax cuts pour fuel on demand, and he pressures the Fed to cut rates on top of it. Interest on the debt passed $1 trillion last year, more than we spend on defense. It's now the third-largest thing the government buys.

I agree that foreign aid needs to be wrangled back, but it's only ever really accounted for 1% of the budget. Meanwhile as president he's barely made a dent in foreign aid, has spearheaded his own foreign aid gifts, and has had a hand in breaking many of the things he said backbone would fix.

Undercover DSA video:

I never personally considered Kirk to be a phenomenon, over his whitebread civic pride, yet also don't see why he was inflammatory enough to be martyred. There is a subculture that overreacts to generically wholesome things like a vampire to holy water.

Quote:
The Four Olds were old ideas, old culture, old customs, and old habits. During the Chinese Cultural Revolution in 1966, Mao Zedong told young groups called the Red Guards to destroy these traditional elements to reshape society.

What They Meant
Old Ideas: Traditional beliefs, family values, and Confucian thought.
Old Culture: Classical art, literature, music, and books.
Old Customs: Traditional social practices, weddings, and funerals.
Old Habits: Daily routines and personal styles tied to the past.

Actions and Results

Destruction of Heritage: Red Guards smashed temples, burned books, and ruined historic art.
Attacks on People: Intellectuals, teachers, and older citizens faced public humiliation and violence.
Forced Changes: Streets, shops, and people received new, revolutionary names.

So, BAMN sympaticos use all the old pejoratives at demonstrations.

If they are so class conscious, why do their planners have vaunted status and living standards superior to peasants.

^^^ Mamdani setting up his first city owned grocery store...

OH NOOO COMMMUNISM!!!

Notice the pattern: Trump SAYS he's gonna lower grocery prices, Mamdani actually DOES it.

That's the difference between DSA and MAGtard douchebags.

I didn't know you asked anything.  I didn't see a question mark.  I did see the word "comrade" which appeared to me to be a rhetorical symbol used to imply that communism was involved.

Post more precisely, and you might get responses more closely aligned to what you were seeking.
