Looks to be a Gymnopilus Luteus. A little worn down. Spore print would definitely help nail it down but as far as macroscopically speaking, it's leaning in that direction of Gymn.

keep an eye on that log they can fruit more than once a year and Sept/Oct is usually the best time.
first time i found some it was a cluster of licorice smelling (and looking) old mushrooms  , kept my eyes on that stump for a month and it eventually produced 3/4 lb of fresh G.Luteus.

they provide a nice soft trip with way less mind-fuk than psilocybe ,but with weaker visuals.
they're supposed to contain some kavalactones and i believe these potentiate some of the effects of the psilocybine/psilocin making a small dose of the tryptamines feel stronger  .

Good to know, always wanted to try them. Have you written a report? I would read it 😃

I posted a trip report a few years back... In my experience they were more sedative than psilocybe, but I've only tried them once so ymmv.
