i will do only one plate to test my LC. i will use some condiment cup like this one:

is made of polypropylene. it works?

Looks like it should be good. I used these which seem similar.

Even if it melts, whatever. Bit of a mess but not a big deal.

Look for a triangle with PP5 inside, looks like the cup is PP5, lid not so sure :uhoh:

You will see a triangle on the base that says 'pp5'
Thats polypropylene and the 5 is either the isomer or number of times its been upcycled cant remember which but I should know.

If youre running cups you need to be sure the lids are polypropylene. Most common fuck up with inexperienced cup users

Cups are effectively sterile right out of the packaging. Open the plastic sleeve inside the sab and pour as normal.

I wouldn’t call it counterintuitive but I understand your point.

The agar is still very hot when you pour it. So that helps. I use a SAB for pours and only lose a plate very randomly.

Most no pours involve ketchup cups though. I do plates cause it’s easier to backlit and verify cultures. I then have dealers choice with size of plates.

Does this shoebox need to be misted. I’m using sharperdreams shoebox tek and spawned it 7/28. The variety is pe so I know it can take a while but it looked a little dry and want to see what others think.

Alright so just keep the lid on and keep leaving it alone like I’ve been doing? I only took the lid off for the picture other then that it’s not been touched per the tek. I know penis envy can take forever. Is it looking healthy from what you can see?

you can just take the lid off for a few minutes and get a better pic, nobody can give you good advice based on a picture that blurry. when you replace the lid the huymidity will just build up again. just dont remove it all the time.

I don't see any issues with the tub either, a macro shot will show beads on the surface... or not.

Yeah I’ll get some better pictures later, first grow in a while and it’s my first time using grain and spawning as opposed to pf cakes, so I’m kind of being ocd about it to get it right lmao. Glad to hear it’s looking correct. Anyone who’d grown pe how long does it typically take you to see fruits?
