I made a thread a while ago about favorite beers from different styles. Well, this time it's only the BEST.

Say the one beer, or two if they're really equal, that you can make a good argument are THE BEST.

I would say: Saison Dupont. It's drinkable but insanely complex, a yeast flavor you can't get anywhere else in the world, like drinking the farm itself.

And you could also make the argument for Delirium Tremens, the ultimate drinkable beer.

But in fact, their hops are choice and their barley malt is the best. So now it appears to be saying their rice is just so-so. Nothing extraordinary about their rice.

The idea of just throwing in some rice for the hell of it in a malt-based beverage always struck me as cheap and lazy. Never had a Budweiser though, maybe it's ok.

Seriously though, I remember enjoying the Belgian beer Duvel. There are so many wonderful local small craft beer breweries out there. I just don't enjoy the alcohol buzz or hangover. Body too old for it.
