Thick Mycelium but No Pins - time to fan or use Fork Tek?
    #29639730 -

I have purple mystic growing in two 13q tubs. Both have a very, very thick layer of mycelium on top but no pins. I have two FAE holes on top of one tub and one on the other (just to experiment) but even after introducing light a few days ago (I didn't bother misting because the tubs are very humid).

This pic was taken a couple days ago. There are now virtually no uncultured spots. Should I be worried that I don't have enough evaporation/FAE to make it start pinning? Should I throw them in the SAB and do some fanning?

I think you are misunderstanding how a still air box works. If you move a bunch of air around in one it's no longer still air. To me it looks dry but it's a picture from days ago and I can't clearly see the surface.

Personally I wouldn't do anything. It will pin when it's ready. If you fiddle with it enough by fanning and misting the surface will get matted looking. Open the box and take a clear picture of the surface.
