Slicing & Slicing Off Black Pin Mold

Firstly, quite the newbie here, and long time lurker. Mostly an enthusiast wanting to learn for the future. My main question is about "salvaging" the mycelium remaining into more mycelium (down to three 1cm x 2cm x 3cm pieces). I'll try to give as much info on the process breifly. 1) P.C. Thailand Koh Samui strain (only did one jar for experiment) 2) P.F. TEK with the brown rice ground "coursely" - not all powdered 3) Using a heating pad, various plastic chambers, w/ towel over it 4) Using isoproply on everything + lysol air mist 5) No problem pasturizing, inoculating, colonizing & birthing cake - No prob 6) Tried *unpatsurized* verm/verm casing = slicing & slicing off black pin mold 7) Retried *pasturized* verm leaving cake top open = slicing & slicing off black pin mold 8) Fashioned a double chamber terrerium with only cake = black pin mold again. 9) (Also did a skim milk dunk after each slicing before re-going) So I've learned a whole lot about casing, basic ins & outs, etc., reconfiguring chambers and inventing a cool terrerium. But, I can't seem to shake this black pin mold. Probably missed an invisible piece, or, inadvertantly re-contaminated with the knife while slicing & slicing. Everytime the cake surface gets a nice white fuzz of mycelium balls - about a 2cm square area of black pin mold takes over again. Man Alive! I've sliced this cake 100 times! Ne way I could use some basic advice on "salvaging" the remaining mycelium into more mycelium. Would the "Honey TEK" be a reasonable way to keep the mycelium going? Also, I'll fill in any gaps of info left out, and, all comments are welcome...

i don't see any hope of salvage. Honey water will most likely just "carry" the mold.

The black plague has befallen me on SEVERAL occasions.... I'm almost certain that we're dealing w/ a problem of too much water in the initial substrate solution...
