does anyone do grounding either with a mat or barefot outside?
    #29567721 -

I saw a deal to get two grounding mats for $30 and i bought them, I dont believe in it, and even if i did I read your house could be connected wrong so they wouldnt work even if grounding was a real thing, but i figured im not losing anything but $30 if i buy them and they a bunk and there will probably be a placebo effect aswell, but if i dont buy them and they are real, im missing out on health benefits

the material is conductive, it comes with a pen that lights up when you touch conductive material, but i wish i had a multimeter, cause i dont know if the power bar i have them plugged into is even connected to the apartment ground properly

anyways, have any one who does it noticed any benefits?

For most of the normies out there, an operating system is just a bootloader for Google Chrome.

And I don't know what the mantis is praying for
But he's probably just thanking the Lord
That he don't live in a home
And he don't got a phone
And he don't sit around all angry and bored
(He's just a bug)

If they work, a sheet of tin foil connected to the ground prong of an old power cord would work just as well.

I don’t know if grounding has any benefits, but I do enjoy walking around outside barefooted.  I used to walk through the woods like that, but all the sticks and acorns hurt until you developed well callused feet.

My favorite is standing in a patch of damp moss.  I feel better after doing so, though that could easily be attributed to the fresh air and sunshine.

Back when I was living in an apartment, I'd have a litter box I grew grass in for the purpose of sometimes just sitting and putting my feet in the grass.

Now I have an entire jungle room that is just plants all over the floor and walls.

Yes, I walk barefoot, where it is socially-appropriate.

It takes at least as much effort to keep your feet in good condition as it does to keep a nice pair of shoes.

Also, I don't feel like living as an indoor cat. There is some psychological benefit to occasionally sitting on grass and looking at stars, even if it's placebo.

I think the whole grounding thing is nonsense from the standpoint of electrically grounding yourself. I do however believe wholeheartedly that going barefoot as often as you can outdoors is very beneficial. I love feeling the ground directly on my feet and have amazing arches.
As a kid I never wore shoes all summer if at all possible and nobody ever said a thing...of course this was Boulder CO in the 60s and 70s
